Open Call: Art and Technology Residency 
Deadline: 28/07/19 
Location: Athens – Greece, Belgrade – Serbia, Istanbul – Turkey

Connect for Creativity offers a residency program from 7 October to 17 November to build bridges between artists from Turkey, the UK, Greece and Serbia. The residency program will accept 4 artists from every partner country for every 3 location for 6-weeks. Participants will receive return economy international travel within Europe and Western Balkans, accommodation for six weeks and per diems, workspace, tools and equipment, 600 Euro fee per participant. Applicants need to be 18 and over, based from one of the 4 countries: Turkey, the UK, Greece and Serbia, available full time during the residency period.

Artist Grant Award 
Deadline: 15/07/19

Artist Grant has supported and funded artists since 2017 to compensate the given opportunities to the artists. The main mission of the foundation is to make funded artists contribute to the society with their work. Artist Grant provides a $500 USD grant to one visual artist each grant cycle. Participants that are 18 and older from anywhere in the world are welcomed. Artists must be pay $25 USD application fee in order to participate the competition.

Fall 2020 Artist-in-Residence Open Call

For nearly four decades, Bemis Center’s core mission has been to provide artists from around the world dedicated time, space, and resources to conduct research and to create new work across conceptual, material, performative, and social practices. Bemis residency opportunities are open to national and international artists 21+ years of age showing a strong professional working history. The 10 participants will be selected for the residency program between September 16 – November 13 2020. The application fee for the program is $40 USD.

Open Call: Warbling Group Exhibition

Warbling is a London-based curatorial collective led by artists. Warbling invites international submissions of contemporary art for a curated group pop-up exhibition to be held in East Dulwich, London from the 22nd of August to the 2nd of September 2019. 
The exhibition will be titled ‘Of course, I haven’t forgotten!’, it’s completely up to each artist submitting to come to their own conclusions on how the title might relate or sit nicely alongside their practice. Participants should pay £20 admission fee in order to apply.

CUVO Open Call of Video Art

Location: Madrid – Spain

CUVO is an itinerant festival and its intention is to provide artists with an opportunity to disseminate them proposals in a specific place as well as traveling, thus facilitating the understanding by the public of video art. The theme of this edition of the CUVO festival is “TEEN GAME”, for this reason it is requested that the proposals are linked or related in some way with this idea.

Common Knowledge: A Contemporary Collective 
Deadline: 29/07/19 
Location: Texas – America

Common Knowledge will be an open-themed, contemporary and fine art exhibition at Armadillo Art Gallery, from August 13th – October 15th, 2019. Participants could apply with 10 works accompanied with $35 application fee. A special jury will evaluate works and the winner would get a solo exhibition.

Call for Residencies 2020

‘The Sala Project’ offers his call is open to any artist interested as an individual or on behalf of a group or company, regardless their age, nationality or creative discipline. 3 of the applicants will be chosen by the jury for the residency program. These 3 participants are expected to create a new project for the exhibition and they are given total 15.000 Euros economic contribution.

Frieze Writer’s Prize 2019 
Deadline: 05/08/19 
Location: London – UK

Since its founding in 1991, frieze magazine has been dedicated to new, imaginative writing about art and culture. The annual Frieze Writer’s Prize recognizes emerging writers who achieve these qualities in their work. Applicants are invited to submit an unpublished review for consideration by three judges. The winner is commissioned to write a review for frieze and awarded £2,000.

International Photography Award 2019 
Deadline: 31/07/19 
Location: Dubai – UAE

The competition invites all amateur and professional photographers from around the United Arab Emirates and around the world, to showcase their portfolios in the UAE’s SDG Photography Award. Applicants must be aged 18 years or over and they could apply with the one of the five categories: People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, Partnership. The winner of each category will be qualified with 5,000 USD prize money. Additionally, 170 selected portfolios and photo will be published in a book and unveiled at the World Government Summit – SDGs in Action, Dubai, UAE, in February 2020.

International Photography Grant 2019

International Photography Grant is open for submissions without any fees to support all photographers from every corner of the world. They only accept series of photographs which share a common theme and are built as a one consistent project in the following categories: Creative, Documentary, Landscape, Portrait, Travel. The Grand Prize, 1,000 USD, winner and finalists will be selected by the most respected names in photographic world.

CeramAiR Ceramic Artist in Residence Program 2020 
Deadline: 5/08/19 
Location: Vernon – Canada

CeramAiR Artist Residence Program is open to both emerging and established artists. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of post-secondary training completed or in progress with a major in ceramics, be self-directed and able to work independently. The selection for the residence is based on the body of work presented, cv and project proposal. The program offers accommodation and studio for the selected artists; other expanses must be provided by the applicant.

International Awards for Art Criticism

Location: London – UK, Shanghai – China

The Sixth Edition of the International Awards for Art Criticism (IAAC 6) 2019, was open to candidates from anywhere in the world writing in Chinese or English about any contemporary art exhibition held between 15 September 2018 and 15 September 2019. Candidates are invited to write a review of 1,500 words or 2,500 Chinese characters on any exhibition of contemporary art. The First Prize will consist of a cash award of 10,000 Euros or the RMB equivalent of this amount (currently, around 80,000 RMB) and a fully funded short program of visits and meetings in Shanghai or London.

Open Call: Corridor Project Space Year Programme 2020: Frozen Time

Location: Amsterdam – Netherlands

Corridor Project Space (CPS) is located at Veemkade 574 in Amsterdam. Each season CPS focuses on one main theme that is researched and explored in a series of exhibitions. CPS works with artists and writers living in mainly the Netherlands and Turkey. This year’s theme will me ‘Frozen Time’ for the 5th year of the exhibition. CPS will provide an exhibition space and basic equipment; in addition, promotion and professional photo documentation will be delivered by CPS. The other necessities must be provided by artists.

Open Call: AICA Incentive Award For Young Art Critics

AICA Incentive Award for Young Art Critics recognizes emerging voices in art criticism around the world. In 2019, the International Association of Art Critics (AICA) and its Awards Committee, with the support of the AICA German section, launches the seventh edition of AICA Incentive Award for Young Art Critics. AICA invites young art critics from all over the globe to submit an article or a review on a subject (an exhibition, a biennale, a profile of an artist etc.) related to the theme of the congress: Art Criticism in Times of Nationalism and Populism.
